Compiled List of Drop Rate Changes

This is a list of drop rate changes compiled from the update threads. If a particular drop rate is not present within this list, assume it's the same drop rate as RS3.

Remember; this is just a compiled list of documented drop rate changes as of July 23rd, 2023.

 

[BOSS DROP RATE CHANGES]

 

Araxxi: The Droprate boost% account stat was changed; now it affects hilt & spider leg drop rates.

Commander Zilyana: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/250.

Corporeal beast: Holy elixir was buffed to 1/240, Spirit shield to 1/100, Spectral sigil to 1/500, all other sigils to 1/600.

Croesus: Drop rate buffed to 1/520 per slot.

General Graardor: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/250.

Gregorovic: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/400.

Helwyr: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/380.

K'ril Tsutsaroth: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/250.

Kree'arra: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/250.

Solak: Blightbound crossbows drop rate buffed to 1/266 (1/532 for specific). Grimoire drop rate buffed to 1/133.

Telos: Drop rates are nerfed compared to RS3, and only the drop rate boost from specifically your game mode choice affects it. For example; on RS3 at 2,499 enrage on a 1 killstreak your drop rate is 1/15 for any item. On Ataraxia, the drop rate for that enrage and killstreak is approximately 1/45.

Twin Furies: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/400.

Vindicta: Chance for any specific item was buffed to 1/400.

Vorago: Drop rate of Seismic weaponry nerfed to 1/250 per loot pile. This translates to 1/50 per normal mode kill, or about 1/28 for a hardmode kill.

 

 

[SLAYER MOB DROP RATE CHANGES]

 

Abyssal demon: Abyssal minion pet's drop rate is 1/100,000.

Camel warrior: Camel staff drop rate was buffed to 1/700 on task.

Cave horror: Black mask drop rate was buffed to 1/350; slayer task has no effect.

Dark beast: Amount of dark arrowheads dropped at a time was buffed to 105-175.

Ganodermic beast: Amount of ganodermic flakes dropped at a time was buffed to 43-138.

Glacor: Boot drop rate buffed to 1/220. Shards of Armadyl drop rate boosted to an unknown rate, and they also drop 1-2 at a time.

Lava strykewyrm: Drop rates for uniques buffed by 4x while on task.

Magister: Drop rate of Phylactery was buffed to 1/10.

Rune dragon: T90 boot attachments buffed to 1/250. Drop rate from the Elite rune dragon is buffed to 1/200. Both while on task.

Soulgazers: Drop rate of Hexhunter bow is as follows; 1/5,000 chance on kill to summon Veil-Ripper Ozharakha who has a 100% chance to drop the bow. Slayer task has no effect.

Strykewyrms: Hexcrest and focus sight drop rate buffed to 1/300.

 

Sunken pyramid: Khopesh drop rates on task were buffed to 1/2,000. Key to the crossing was buffed to 1/100. Both while on task.

 

 

[MISCELLANEOUS DROP RATE INFO]

 

Ancient casket: Chance for a shadowy key (Guildmaster Tony's mattock) was buffed to 1/500 per casket.

Chaos dwarf cannoneers: Hand cannon drop rate was buffed to an unknown rate. Dragon pickaxe drop rate buffed to 1/1,000.

Droprate boost% has no effect on: Telos, Rise of the Six, or clue scrolls.

Inquisitor staff pieces: Drop rate buffed to 1/64,500 per material gained, or 1/48,000 whilst pylon is active at the War table debris.

Wildywyrm: Drop rate for uniques doubled.

Bladed dive codex: Can be obtained from the Anachronia agility course and the Dragonkin Laboratory (ED2).

City of Senntisten codex: Obtained from Croesus, Kerapac, and TzKal-Zuk.

Devotion: Can be obtained from only either Kree'arra or General Graardor

Double escape codex: Can be obtained from the Anachronia agility course and the Dragonkin Laboratory (ED2).

Double surge codex: Can be obtained from the Anachronia agility course and the Dragonkin Laboratory (ED2).

Dragon mattock: Can be obtained from Raksha, the Shadow Colossus, Big Game Hunter, and Ancient caskets.

Dragon scale dust: Obtained from Iron and Steel dragons.

Terrasaur maul pieces: Can be obtained from Raksha, the Shadow Colossus, or Big Game Hunter.

 

 

 

Removed:

Greater Barge ability codex: Removed from the ED2 drop table.

Greater Concentrated blast ability codex: Removed from Kerapac's drop table.

Greater chain ability codex: Removed from Raksha's drop table.

Greater Flurry ability codex: Removed from the ED2 drop table.

Greater Fury ability codex: Removed from the ED2 drop table.

Greater ricochet ability codex: Removed from Raksha's drop table.

Magma Temptest ability codex: Removed from TzKal-Zuk's drop table.

Reprisal ability codex: Removed from Telos' drop table.
