Soren 3
This Is A Hunter Guide(duh) Early levels and helpful info At level 1 I suggest going to do divination and capturing chronicle fragments until around level 20 hunter. The reason being, catching birds at level 1 hunter takes forever. If you go do divination, you'll reach 20 hunter in almost no time, and have a few divination levels on top of that. Click here to go read Clumsy's divination guide. Protean Traps are another useful resource which can be obtained from the squeal of fortune. You can right click them to automatically lay 60 traps back to back, allowing for AFK xp (Note that you WILL NOT obtain any resources such as chinchompas when using protean traps. They ONLY give xp.) Moving on we have the Master Camouflage set, an experience boosting outfit. If you wear all 5 pieces of the outfit you will gain an additional 6% xp for hunter. As of the writing of this guide the outfit has not been released, but should be available shortly on the squeal of fortune. One final note on additional XP is divine locations. Divine locations are obtained through the divination skill and can be placed for to gather resources and XP. The divine box trap is one of the best ways to get hunter xp as it is decently AFK. There is a cap per day on how much you can capture from a divine location, so keep that in mind. The divine box trap can be created using 45 Vibrant Energy, 20 Chinchompas, and requires level 64 divination to make, as well as 68 hunter to gather from. On To The Meat At level 19 hunter you can catch the Tropical Wagtail using bird snares. Teleport to Feldip Hills via Skilling > Hunter teleport in the Quest Tab. Speak to the Hunting Expert to purchase bird snares, a butterfly net, and butterfly jars. At level 45 you can catch Black Warlocks which are butterflies You can do these until 63 or after a few levels go on to Puro Puro and catch imps, the teleport is right under Feldip Hills. Once you hit level 63 go back to Feldip Hills and catch Carnivorous Chinchompas with a box trap. These are useful for training range, or you can sell them to other players. I recommend either equipping a bow with no arrows, or auto casting a spell and banking the runes required. This way you don't misclick and kill one, which is especially useful if you're a skiller. At level 77 you can catch Grenwalls , which are under the Isafdar teleport. The only slightly annoying thing about these is they will fill up your inventory with meat and bones, so keep that in mind. Level 89 you can choose to go to Crimson Skillchompas if you wan't some serious cash. These can be used on gathering skills for extra xp, or sold to players for quite a bit of money. You lose some xp per catch compared to Grenwalls, but because they stack in your inventory you can catch more per hour. In conclusion there's a lot of really viable ways to train Hunter which makes it one of the more enjoyable skills on Ataraxia for me despite being very click intensive. Thanks for reading and good luck on your gains
