    [+] General Changes

    - Increased the chance of receiving double Deathspore arrow tips to 40% and added a 20% chance to receive triple instead of double
    - Reduced the amount of Splintering arrow tips received by half if you are using an Inferno adze or using Always Adze
    - All Excalibur items have activate as the first option now
    - If you have the Key Expert perk, Crystal chest will now open automatically twice as quickly (2 ticks)
    - Added Boogie bow to the super rare Voracious voter table
    - Buffed the rare of Inverted tokens from that same table
    - Increased the chance of accessing the same table
    - Added Sign of the Porters as a reward from Mystery boxes
    - Removed Inverted cape tokens from Rare mystery boxes
    - Added Inverted cape tokens to Mystery boxes on the Legendary table
    - Added Inverted cape tokens to the Store for $10
    - Increased the base hitpoints of Nex: Angel of Death to 60,000
    - Nex: Angel of Death encounter now only scales to solo if you have the Solo adventurer perk
    - Though, kept some scaling through the following formula: hitpoints = (players x 60,000) x 2 to a maximum of 240,000 hitpoints
    - Buffed Nex: Angel of Death's melee defence
    - Reduced the Praesul codex droprate to 1/45 x players from 1/36 x players
    - Buffed the Ectoplasmator droprate default from 1/500 to 1/300 and greatly reduced the Revenant/Barrows/Spiritual droprates (no one should be gatekept from this item for that long, it's unfun (iron chode also suffered))
    - Increased Dragon pickaxe general store value to 1m
    - Legio rooms will now tell you to note your keys if you try and enter without a key or with an unnoted key
    - Added a 12 hour debuff after claiming a vote so you know when to vote again
    - Added Holy biscuits to clue scrolls and added their consume functionality
    - All Divine locations will now harvest one resource per tick instead of depending on your level/the divine location level
    - All Divine locations will now harvest noted resources
    - Increased the amount of possible trivia winners between 81-160 players online from 10 to 15

     

    [+] Event System Overhaul

    - Event tokens/events in general have had a lot of discussion, personally, I really like the addition of Events on Ataraxia and I have no intention of taking them away
    - There's definitely changes needed to improve the way they're interacted with and how the community views them though
    - People getting angry at each other for not using their tokens or not activating the specific events the majority want (when it should be up to the owner) isn't the kind of attitude I want towards them
    - I have made a lot of changes, so please read them all, here is the new event list, the effect and the duration:

    Double Drops: Doubles all drops received from monsters and certain bosses throughout Ataraxia, 30 minutes
    Double Gathering: Doubles all resources received from various skilling activities throughout Ataraxia, 1 hour
    Double Slayer points: Doubles all Slayer points received from completing Slayer tasks, 1 hour
    Double Reaper points: Doubles all Reaper points received from completing Reaper tasks, 1 hour
    Drop Rate Increase: Gives all players +25% drop rate, 45 minutes
    Drop Rate Cap Removal: Removes the hard cap of 50% for BGH, Croesus, Zamorak and TzKal-Zuk, 30 minutes
    Skilling Contracts: Skipping contracts will no longer penalise your rewards and grants +3 loot rolls on all contracts completed , 1 hour
    Extra Damage: +15% damage, 45 minutes
    Reduced Damage: -15% damage taken, 1 hour
    Pet Drop Rates: +30% Pet drop rates, 1 hour
    Reaper's Sacrifice: Completing a Reaper task has a 10% chance of receiving 25-75 Sacrifice points, 1 hour
    Unlimited Porters: Porter charges and Grace of the Elves charges will not be consumed, 1 hour

    - There's obviously some better ones and some that aren't that great, but it's important to still have a good balance
    - As you can see, the more powerful events have had their active times nerfed, this is to still have the value of the event but maybe a little less time to get situated and utilising
    - Splitting Double Slayer and Reaper was purely so you didn't have to pick between the two if that event was active, now you can decide your priority (even though I'm sure there's players with infinity of both)
    - Removing Spotlights was split into Pet drop rates & Skilling exp (which isn't added, just yet)
    - Triple experience has also been removed, I feel like this should just be a hosted event rather than a forced one, it devalues having 3x exp weekends

    [+] General Event Changes

    - Event Enjoyer now lets you pick the event you'd like
    - Codex pages from Anachronia agility will now double with the Double resources event
    - Event activation is now anonymous, receiving a token is no longer broadcasted and activating an event states "An event has been activated", so you can truly activate the event you'd like without any personal attacks (the fact that this is necessary should make a few of you question who you are as a person but I digress)
    - You can now pick Random/Random Combat/Random Skilling with just the one token regardless of Donor rank
    - Gave Event tokens a 10m general store value so they Lootbeam
    When successfully rolling for an Event token from any activity, you now roll an additional 50/50 chance, you either receive the token or you instantly activate a Random event without you being able to decide based on this 50/50.

    - As you can (hopefully) see, most obtaining rates have been buffed, meaning there'll be more events coming in, remembering, that not all of these will grant Event tokens, but 50% of the time just instantly activate an event!

    [+] Combat Balancing

    - Another hotly debated topic, Combat balancing, and the power of Melee vs Ranged and Magic
    - After some deliberation and discussion with various players and staff, we've made some changes that I think are in the best interest going forward, as always, these changes are absolutely not final and can be edited/reverted/buffed/nerfed at any time

     

    [+] Fractured Staff of Armadyl

    - FSOA is a difficult item to balance given our Legacy combat, on EoC you can force crits using different abilities, on here, it's pure luck, so you can have a FSOA spec that performs insanely well or one that just fizzles out and does nothing
    - FSOA is receiving a buff
    - FSOA spec will now last only 20 seconds, instead of 30 seconds
    - Nerfed the FSOA subsequent hit damage following crits from 80%/40%/20% to 50%/25%/10%, the amount of extra hits following a crit (4) is unchanged
    - FSOA spec will now guarantee that for 20 seconds all of your attacks critically strike

    [+] Ek-Zekkil

    - Similarly to the FSOA, Ek-Zekkil is quite difficult with the reliability on continuously applying bleeds, which in EoC is much easier and consistent
    - Ek-Zekkil is also receiving a buff
    - Ek-Zekkil's special attack bleed now applies/damages the enemy quicker, similar to the speed of Dismember, you can see this below
    - There is now a minimum starting damage dealt by Ek-Zekkil's special attack, 400, however, it can still start higher if it rolls higher, this is so the special attack is more reliable going forward
    - Reduced the special attack energy required to 35%

    [+] Hexhunter Bow

    - It's difficult to balance this weapon as it's basically strong vs everything, nerfing the ammo to the tier of the bow also did nothing
    - The best way for this to be adjusted is to make the bow itself less powerful, but still provide the late-game power that it's known for usually, but through means that aren't as easy as just farming 4k Soulgazers
    - Reduced the base attack speed of the Hexhunter bow by 1 tick, meaning it will attack slower
    - Made it so the Enchantment of Dispelling not only increases accuracy and damage but also increases the attack speed of the bow by 1 tick

     

    [+] Bow of the Last Guardian

    - Bow of the Last Guardian with all of the new ammo itself is honestly, decent.
    - However, it still needs a little bit of a change to keep up with the HHB campers
    - During the BOLG special attack, the attack speed of the weapon will increase by 1 tick

    [+] Bik arrows

    - Similarly to Ek-Zekkil special attack, poison is quite hard to keep stacking and keep uptime on it, also, the base poison damage is fairly mediocre
    - Changed it so Bik arrows instead add 10 stacks per instead of just 1
    - Poison damage is now added instead of multiplied by, so damage = stackamount + poison damage
    - If you reach 200 stacks, the damage is increased by 10%

    [+] Ful arrows

    - Damage modifier increased from 10% to 15%

    [+] Wen arrows

    - Wen arrows now apply stacks 75% of the time instead of 25% of the time

     

    [+] Bug Reports

    - Fixed using Prepared masterwork on an anvil making it disappear
    - Fixed an issue with familiars special store requirements
    - Fixed Augmented Imcando pickaxe not gaining item xp on Shooting stars
    - Fixed Daily challenge lamp reward being deleted if your inventory is full
    - Fixed Death ward reducing the amount of healing from Food
    - Fixed Great white shark not bait n switchin' with Porters
    - Fixed terminology on Harvesting trees for Achievements
    - Fixed Extended super antifire potion not working
    - Fixed Chug jug causing Unlimited overload cooldown to be too long

     

    [+] Server Improvements

    We are transferring to a new dedicated server, this new server is much more powerful, has more storage and will also allow us to have the Website, Game and SQL on the same singlular server. 

    This means that the communication between the Website/Game/SQL will be much quicker and likely require less server load.

    Node has also greatly improved the setup of the server. This new setup allows us to fully prepare the new update while the server is online to the point where when we restart the server, the new changes are all already in 'standby' ready to just be switched over.

    Meaning that it's an easy restart rather than shutdown, pull changes, pull cache, wait for server to recompile etc.

     

    We're also hoping this new server improves player's connection with the server and adds a bit more stability for longer uptimes.

     

     

    I'm heading to Europe on the 22nd for a month! The team is still going to be chugging along and I'm going to be doing what I can with my spare time..! 

    As this has been in the works for a while, I've planned the next few updates already!

    So I'm happy to announce what's coming next update:

    [+] General Changes

    - Improved the dialogue for new accounts to easily choose a referrer/YouTuber and receive the T70 set
    - Increased the stock of Ataraxia dollars in the Trivia shop

    - The Magic zuk cape affect will now give you +20% damage instead of 100% accuracy if you're using Dual wield weapons

    - Increased the price of Platinum instance creation from 150k/250k/300k to 300k/500k/750k for Master/Diamond/Platinum members respectively
    - Sana's fyrtorch will now work with Wonky tree (will give the same rates as Yew trees for arrow tips)
    - Tagga's corehammer will now work with Blurite rock (will give the same rates as Necrite rocks for arrow tips)
    - Wonky tree now has a 5% chance to give Elder logs
    - You can now use ;;scan to toggle the Sheldon scan option
    - Spirit attraction potions now last 15 minutes
    - Added Nihils to the Platinum instances
    - You can now respawn Legio bosses immediately after killing the previous one

    [+] 'Accidental' Fletching & Firemaking

    - 'Accidental' Fletching and Firemaking is here!
    - You can access this content through the teleport menu (ctrl-t or ;;t):

    - 'Accidental' Fletching and Firemaking is quite simple! There are 3 activities you can do in the area and all require a few different things, I'll do my best to explain them all!

    [+] Seggregation

    - You can start this by collecting eggs from the Pile of dinosaur eggs located right next to the teleport spot:

    - This will slowly fill your inventory with two different items:

    - Good eggs can be utilised! Take these to the West and Incubate them at the Fast incubator:

    - This will grant Firemaking experience and spawn a cute little dinosaur!
    - You will also receive Sharp shell shards, the use of which will be detailed later in the thread
    - Alternatively to the East, you can take your Bad eggs to the Fast compost bin to Compost them:

    - This will also grant Firemaking experience and Sharp shell shards!

     

    [+] Zygomite Carestyling

    - You can start Zygomite Carestyling to the East of the teleport
    - There will be 3 Zygomites begging for a style, they'll have an expiration bar where after it is emptied, they'll leave and another will replace them!

    - You can configure the Zygomites to determine which care style you'd like to implement:

    - Cut and Dry granting both Fletching and Firemaking experience, or just Cut or just Dry for Fletching/Firemaking respectively
    - Doing this action will grant you experience as well as Tempered fungal shafts! Which will be detailed further down:

    - While caring for the Zygomites you can also receive unchecked Zygomites to use in your Player Owned Farms

     

    [+] Eggspermination

    - Finally, we have the most tedious activity, Eggspermination
    - You can access this activity by using the Mystical tree to the East:

    - You'll then want to collect Rootlesaurus Rex from the Storm barn:

    - You'll then notice each of the Rex's has a tooltip of what they need to be fed and when:

    - There are 4 food troughs around this area that you will need:

    - You will need to feed the Rex's to progress them:

    - To put it bluntly, you're beefing them up for the slaughter (more experience)
    - Once you've fed them 4 times, they can be squeezed to make Fertiliser:

    - Which can then be ignited to grant Firemaking experience and Dinosaur 'propellant':

    - Now I'll explain each of the items and their uses!

    [+] Sharp shell shard

    - Sharp shell shards are predominantly used as a component to make Dinarrows (which will be detailed as well)
    - However, you can also use them as a stackable Firemaking item!

    - They're quite good for AFK Firemaking training! Giving approximately 3 minutes of AFK time

     

    [+] Tempered fungal shaft

    - These shafts act as the 'Arrow shafts' for Dinarrows:

    - They can also be spun at a Spinning wheel to make stackable bowstrings:

    [+] Dinosaur 'propellant'

    - Dinosaur 'propellant' is the Feather part of a regular arrow but for Dinarrows:

     - The Ultracompost part of this is not added, as there isn't much use on Ataraxia.

    - Dinarrows are, by themselves, Tier 95 arrows:

    - However, as stated you can charge them with resonant anima to upgrade them into extremely powerful arrows

    [+] Slayer Task Teleport Scrolls

    - Slayer task locations are generally people's first question on the server, "Where is this?", "Where is that?", I've been wanting to add something to help with that for quite a while
    - Finally got around to doing it!
    - New players will now start with 15 of these scrolls, meaning they can in theory teleport to up to 15 Slayer tasks:

    - The first option 'Teleport' will come up with a warning confirmation dialogue:

    - Alternatively, the second option 'Quick-teleport' will instantly teleport you to the task:

    [+] Archaeology Teleport Scroll

    - A new Store item: Archaeology Teleport Scroll can be used to teleport to all of the Material caches around the game with a simple click!
    - This includes all of the caches:

    - Similarly to the Amulet of Farming, this scroll costs $7 and can be purchased in-game or from the Store
    - Or alternatively from the Vote shop for 25 Vote points and the Trivia shop for 75 Trivia points

     

     

    [+] Dave's Spellbook

    - You can now buy Dave's spellbook from the Store Items shop ($7), Vote shop (25 vote points) or the Trivia shop (75 Trivia points)
    - This book can be utilised to teleport to new locations!
    - You can obtain teleport tabs from the Shopkeeper at ctrl-s or ;;shops and then chip them by using them on the Spellbook:

    - You can then store these teleports inside the book, which can be placed in your pocket:

    [+] De-ironing Improvement

    - Previously, de-ironing required an Admin to help, now it is automated
    - All regular ironmen (not GIM/HCIM) can now De-iron using Mr. Ex at ;;shops:

    - Fixed Animate dead not requiring any runes
    - Fixed an issue causing the amount you have stolen in one day being inaccurate
    - Fixed Hellhound familiar only blocking 10% of damage instead of 20%
    - Fixed Zammy pet displaying the person examining's enrage instead of the Pet owner's enrage
    - Fixed being able to teleport to Prif without requirements with Slayer cape
    - Fixed Crystal chest signpost displaying the wrong coin amounts
    - Fixed Precious gem thieving contract
    - Fixed Automaton drop rates for the Tracking, Pneumatic and Static gloves
    - Fixed WildyWyrm not dropping items if he's burrowed
    - Fixed Zenity not being a correct answer for Favourite Admin trivia question

    Hope everyone's doing well! I've had quite a stressful few weeks with some personal issues I won't delve deeply into.

    Apologies for the delay on this update, it's been a very tough time.

    But it's here!


    [+] General Changes

    - Changed the Cache format
    - Updated the way a lot of boss instances and controlers are handled as well as the way they are stored
    - Elite dungeons chest will now hold up to 90 items
    - Added Dragon rider equipment creation functionality using the kit
    - Added Berserk cooldown reset on Banking for Master members
    - Made it so the Elite Dungeons bosses drop their loot immediately after they die
    - Kerosene Karl will now work in duo if both players have it enabled
    - Buffed Ripper demon familiar damage/max hit
    - Buffed Croesus drop rates if you solo by 25% (with the perk)
    - Added a message which checks how many daily thieves you have done on automated stalls (filterable)
    - Adjusted the Vote party threshold from 50 to 20 to adjust for the reduction in the amount of vote sites
    - Added a command for Discord admins to reset passwords via Discord
    - The amount of porter charges you can store in Grace of the Elves now scales with your Donor rank; Master: 2000, Diamond: 1500, Platinum: 1250, Gold: 1000, Silver/Bronze/Non-donor: 500
    - You can now use ;;referrer player_name after making your account and not using the referral system as long as you have less than 20 hours played
    - Changed the Blocking contract text colour to Dark green to make it more readable
    - You can now receive Magical thread from the Donor zone runecrafting altar
    - Menaphos fishing spot teleport will now take you to the VIP fishing zone instead of Port district
    - You can now buy Scrimshaw of Ranging, Magic and Attack from Meg at ;;shops for Elite Sirenic/Tectonic repair patches and Glorious bars

     

     

    [+] Vulnerability bomb (unlimited)

    - You can now create a Vulnerability bomb (unlimited)!
    - Type ;;comb and you can see it through the interface:

    - For 15000 bombs, 2 Upgrade gems and 100,000 Black coins you'll never have to worry about Vuln bombs again!

     

    [+] Animate Dead

    - There has been a lot of discussion regarding how we should add Animate dead, if at all
    - After reading it all and taking in opinions from all, I think the way we are going to add it encourages some critical decision making for making it worth it
    - You can unlock the spell by using a City of Senntisten codex
    - Anyway, here's what it will do:

    Animated Dead - 30 Earth runes, 15 Death runes, 15 Blood runes, 6 Soul runes

    For the next 30 seconds you will take 25% reduced damage, this has a 15 second cooldown
    Each piece of tank equipment you have equipped will reduce this cooldown by 3 seconds.

    - This way there is quite a large upkeep and refreshing process, rather than the real version which is just activate it and then you're good for ages
    - It's a great ability to use to avoid high damage and isn't necessarily something you'd be having on 100% uptime contrary to what you would ordinarily.
    - Obviously this isn't set in stone and is subject to change, we will see how it goes!

     

    [+] Essence of Finality Expansion

    - You can now add any weapon you want to Essence of Finality!
    - It'll now queue the Essence of Finality special attack after your last action
    - Here's a few fun special attacks in action:

    Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday period, usually pretty busy with family obligations, back to business now!

    Highly anticipated and eagerly awaited, Zamorak, Lord of Chaos is here!


    [+] General Changes

    - You can now manual cast a combat spell while on spell book swap
    - Added an examine text to explain the function of Ring of Wealth (c)
    - Celestial handwraps and Razorback gauntlets will no longer globally announce
    - Removed the cooldown for ;;kickme on the Discord
    - Added a command to show you how many Sacrifice points you have: ;;points ;;treepoints
    - Removed the World announcements for all Event token obtaining
    - Added a filter to Guildmaster Tony's mattock message
    - Buffed the amount of resources gained from Material boxes
    - Reworked Precious gem stall for Diamond members, will now give more GP than the Gem stall
    - Made it so you can't destroy (unlimited) items
    - Nerfed the rate of Event tokens from completing slayer tasks
    - Buffed the amount that Dyes multiply your points by: Barrows (1.075x to 1.15x), Shadow (1.1x to 1.175x), Third-Age (1.125x to 1.2x), Blood (1.15x to 1.225x) and Ice (1.175x to 1.25x)
    - Moved the banker next to the Runecrafting altar at dz for easier banking
    - Removed the player lock after Runecrafting on the altar at dz so you can do it as quickly as you like
    - Added a command for Admins to pick an event incase the server needs a restart and a specific event was active
    - Sacrificed swiftly and Drop catcher lists will now sort alphabetically
    - Outfits you have already created will now be removed from the Invention workbench options
    - Removed the dialogue from using bones on altar so you will auto-begin offering bones
    - Vorago releasing his mental link will now send the message to everyone in the instance
    - Banking with a Rune pouch will now auto fill your Rune pouch with it's runes from your bank
    - You can now use Vuln bombs/effect while they are under the effect of Vuln to refresh the timer
    - Familiar auto spec now only works for combat special effects
    - You can now auto-cast spells from the actionbars
    - Added Super guthix rest and Super guthix brew potion effects
    - Perk Tree's costume box perk will now work for Master Archaeologist outfit
    - Added "Search-all" birds nest option

    [+] Zamorak, Lord of Chaos

    - Zamorak, Lord of Chaos has made his way to Ataraxia!
    - With awesome rewards and a whole new Elite dungeon: Zamorakian Undercity, Zamorak will be your final foe
    - Here's the dungeon layout/guide:

     

    [+] Zamorakian Undercity

    - The beginning of Zamorakian Undercity is mostly like other Elite Dungeons
    - You will need to start a party to enter
    - As most monsters have varying susceptibilities, you can pick whatever you'd like, however, the wikipedia's recommend HHB or Seren Godbow
    - Here's the setup I was running to clear trash mobs:

    - With higher DPS such as this, you can use Soulsplit, so a Blood reaver and/or an Essence of Finality harnessing the Eldritch crossbow special attack is excellent
    - Post-note: I also forgot a pocket slot, I'd recommend Grimoire (obviously) or alternatively just a Scripture of Wen for AoE
    - Alternatively, for more AoE you might want to use a Seren godbow as the special attack will be great, or if you can't afford that, a Decimation for the small window of AoE damage
    - Otherwise, the gear is quite straight forward, your strongest Ranged armour top/bottom, Harold's helmet or the imbued variant (if neither, use strongest range helmet), Max/Comp/Igneous Kal-Zuk or Kal-Xil, Hexhunter bow or SGB, Swift gloves for double shot, Enhanced fleeting boots for bonus & Fragmentation shot chance, HSR (i) with Matriarch rings harnessed (or just matriarch ring) and then Vampyrism for extra healing
    - A key note is that in the dungeon you will come across a lot of mobs, most are fairly irrelevant and will be dealth with in a manner of ticks, however, there's a few you should target before others, such as:

    Chaos witch mender, level 109

    Chaos Witch Mender - Will heal the other mobs if left unkilled

    Chaos witch lifeweaver, level 115

    Chaos witch lifeweaver - Will heal other mobs if left unkilled

    Greater demon savage, level 133

    Greater demon savage - Looks scary, kill last, has passive reduced damage so you're better off killing others before wasting your time on him/them


    - I did a full trash run and didn't feel in too much danger, here is the starting trash run before the first miniboss:

     


    - Following this, you'll run into Mefis, the Jailer, the first miniboss, he is basically just annoying, when you get him to health thresholds he'll teleport away, I did kill him, but it took me a shockingly long time to find where he teleports, so I don't want to embarrass myself and post that footage.
    - After you kill him you'll be back in the area below, then like before it's just trash running through while activating Chaos wards, this will allow you to path up to Eterna, the Ritual Leader:

     

     

    - Take 2:

     

    - Following Eterna, Ritual Leader, you just enter the portal, you can either kill the Magus, or just kill Denizen and he'll take out a few for you before doing the same
    - Progressing to the end will then unlock the final boss fight, Zamorak, Lord of Chaos:

     

     

    - Now you have Zamorak, Lord of Chaos
    - This is quite a complex fight so please, bear with me.
    - Zamorak's arena is laid out like so:

    - These circles (pads) all have a large symbol on top of them, these represent Zamorak's passive powers progressing in the fight, Zamorak will receive a "hex" and the player will receive an "edict"
    - In order to progress the fight you have to 'charge' all of the pads by standing on them, which will then give you the edict and Zamorak the hex
    - I will explain these more following detailing the abilities/hexes/edicts
    - Some of these are custom on Ataraxia, so read carefully:

    Zamorak's Hex: Twinshot: Zamorak's attacks deal a second hit at 10% total damage of the original hit, per stack
    Player's Edict: Anima Flow: All attacks have a 15% chance to generate 5% special attack, per stack

    Zamorak's Hex: Smite: If Zamorak's targets are hit below 5% of their Constitution level (x100), per stack, they'll be executed
    Player's Edict: Haste: Your ability cooldowns are reduced by 8% of their original cooldown, per stack

    Zamorak's Hex: Coven: Zamorak periodically calls Lifeweavers and Protectors to heal him (doesn't stack)
    Player's Edict: Inner Chaos: While standing near a hexed rune, you deal and take 5% more damage

    4. image.png

    Zamorak's Hex: Disintergrate: Zamorak's attacks will push 7% of damage through any shielding effects, per stack.
    Player's Edict: Guardian's Triumph: After casting a Weapon special attack, your next attack consumes Guardian's Triumph, increasing the damage it deals by 20% extra damage, and heals you for 8% of your missing life points per stack.

    Zamorak's Hex: Chaos Traps: Upon activation, Zamorak will spawn traps across the arena that will spike magic damage and stun if walked on, this will happen every time a new rune is activated
    Player's Edict: Sword of Edicts: Temporary siphon the dwindling defensive power from the Sword of Edicts, dealing and taking 5% less damage while standing near it, also protects against the stun/damage/bind from Chaos traps

    Zamorak's Hex: Affliction: When Zamorak's targets heal, the amount will be reduced by 10% per stack
    Player's Edict: Balance of Power: While below 60% of your maximum life, outgoing damage is increased by 6%, per stack

    - Great, now you know what those are, good luck, hope you enjoy the fight!
    - Sike, there's so much more! yahoooooooooo
    - Anyway, Zamorak's attacks in normal mode:

    Flames of Zamorak: "This world will burn." - Zamorak will impale the ground, dealing melee damage, black fire will then appear, if the black fire is not consumed (by running over it) Zamorak will take reduced damage.

    Chaos Blast: "I will tear you asunder!", "FEEL THE RAGE OF A GOD" - Zamorak will curl into a ball and charge an attack, stun him using Ice barrage or Sticky bomb to reduce the damage, alternatively, Powerburst of Vitality/DS the attack.

    Infernal Tomb: "Step into the dark... Meet your death." - Zamorak will target players and drag them into Infernus, where they must kill Chaos Demons, they will be given a rune, they must exit Infernus where that rune is.

    Adrenaline Cage: "CHAOS, UNFETTERED!" - Zamorak will drop the overhead prayers of all players, there'll be a yellow circle of which the targeted player must remain, protect mage and devotion to take reduced damage

    Channelers: "HEED MY CALL." - Zamorak will spawn a Chaos witch channeler in Infernus, you must transfer to Infernus and kill the Chaos witch channeler between phases, the witch will stun, enter infernus, anticipate, kill, teleport out

    Rune of Destruction: "You're already dead." - Zamorak will lay a massive red rune around him, with a gap, stand in the gap and avoid the black sludge

    - Yeah, maybe not that simple... Ok. Now we know the edicts and hexes, you need to decide which order you'd like to progress, obviously understanding that the later you leave one of the pads, the more stacks there'll be, so you have to choose wisely
    - Here's what I recommend for starting out, and then you might progress and feel like you can change it up a bit:

    - #2 first: This means your execute threshold is very low to start with, your cooldowns aren't reduced by much but who cares
    - #4 second: Protection prayer effectiveness is nice if you're flicking, special attacks aren't as prominent in ataraxia so might not be as influential
    - #1 third: Who cares
    - #3 fourth: Just kill the protector/lifeweaver and be done with it
    - #5 fifth: Traps are really annoying, wouldn't want them spawning regularly, sword of who cares amirite?
    - #6 sixth: Healing is very important considering you'll be soulsplitting most of the fight, but at the same time increased damage while below 60% paired with Berserker's fury, fat.
    - Here's a kill I did using this strategy (albeit not perfect):

     

    - So that's 0% enrage, once you hit 100% enrage, there is a 7th phase, oh boy!!
    - Once reaching the 7th phase, Zamorak will drag you into Infernus for a final fight
    - A Chaos demon will spawn, kill this before you kill Zamorak to avoid unnecessary damage, while doing so, Zamorak will flash a rune or some runes in front of him, so be sure to pan your camera so you are able to view this, you must kill the runes in the order they appear
    - Zamorak will deal a lot of damage during this phase, so it's a good idea to have your Powerburst of Vitality ready along with combo eating
    - Here's me doin it:

     

    - As you can see, it's quite difficult, that was maybe my 7th or 8th attempt, but I feel like you'll all get much better than me if not already :)
    - Anyway, enough horsin around, what does this fucker drop:

     

    [+] Zamorak, Lord of Chaos: Rewards

    - Within The Zamorakian Undercity, there's drops similar to previous Elite dungeons such as invention materials, relics etc
    - Most notable drops from the trash include the Sliver of pain, power and strength
    - These can be combined to create enchantments that buff the Inquisitor's staff, Terrasaur maul and Hexhunter bow, however, these enchantments are not currently added, they will be added at a later date
    - Similarly to TzKal-Zuk, Kerapac and Croesus, Zamorak will drop the City of Senntisten codex, which can be used to unlock the following spells:

    - Zamorak has some unique drops, including:

    [+] Bow of the Last Guardian

    - The Bow of the Last Guardian is the best in slot ranged weapon, created by combining three different pieces dropped by Zamorak, the Top of the Last Guardian's bow, Divine bowstring and the Bottom of the Last Guardian's bow
    - The Bow of the Last Guardian has a passive called:

    Perfect Equilibrium: Each attack will grant a stack of Perfect Equilibirum, once hitting 8 stacks, a single attack is unleashed dealing bonus damage clearing your stacks, seen here:

     

    - The Bow has a special attack called:

    Balance by Force: Costing 30% special attack, for 30 seconds the number of stacks to trigger Perfect Equilibrium is reduced to 4, in addition, it releases a heavy hitting attack when using the special attack, as seen here:

     

     

    - Zamorak also drops:

    [+] Vestments of Havoc

    - The Vestments of Havoc are the best in slot Melee power armour, providing T112 damage bonus, but only T75 armour bonus
    - The Vestments have set effects, these differ on Ataraxia compared to the real ones, so read carefully:

    - As you can see, this is a great set for a heavy special attack focused melee setup
    - Berserk is a new ability on Ataraxia! You can now utilise this when wearing at least 3-pieces of the Vestments set

    [+] General Changes

    - Lowered some of the lower level Slayer contract amounts so they're less grindy/repetitive
    - Added more Cave crawler spawns in Fremennik Slayer cave
    - Examining an item will now display the High alch value
    - You can now contribute to Goodwill on the weekend
    - Removed the generally inaccurate Grand exchange price from examining items
    - Lootbeams will now trigger off of High alch value instead of Grand exchange value, you'll have to play with the numbers a bit..
    - You can now left click Crystal chest with Crystal key (g)
    - Added a custom constitution ability toggle that allows you to use a special attack action from your action bar
    - Donator zone and Max guild bankers now have the 'Load last preset' option
    - Added a buff timer to the Double experience tome
    - Buffed Heroic Ascendancy with Guildmaster Tony's mattock, it will now half the excavation time in Archaeology permanently
    - 'Load last preset' will now apply all Bank effects like resetting of cooldowns, storing, etc
    - 'Run it again' now works for Solak and Croesus

    - Normal mode Arch glacor will now be safe for HCIM as it is on RS3

     

    [+] Rare Mystery Box Returns

    - Rare Mystery Box has now returned permanently!
    - Rare Mystery Boxes are now stackable
    - There are no rotations anymore, all cosmetic rares from every rotation we've ever had are now in the boxes
    - You can now right click all custom rares and convert them straight to Rare Item Tokens (2 each)
    - Buffed points gained from sacrificing Rare item tokens from 10 to 35
    - I wanted to wait a bit before doing something like this to ensure the first few weeks of the Perk Tree went smoothly!

    [+] New Perks

    - It's been a while since we've explored new perks! I wanted to explore some new options as we haven't brainstormed any potentials in a while.
    - We've landed on a total of 4 new perks! All of which are quite fun:

    Rapid Recovery - $20: You now have +15% cooldown reduction, cooldowns for: Disruption shield, Vengeance, Igneous Cleave, Instability, Rapid Ranger, Excalibur, Elven ritual shard, Igneous Kal capes, BGH hiding, Dismember, Combust, Fragmentation shot, Surge, Bladed dive, Escape, Sign of Life and Heated tea flask

    Dungeon Dweller - $30: You can now skip Elite Dungeons to the bosses, but your drop rate at the bosses is reduced by 70%

    Solo Adventurer - $25: Nerfs group bosses so that they are more easily soloable or duoable:

    Croesus (works for duo or solo):
    - Halves the carcasses hitpoints, you gain double contribution points
    - Halves the statue restore progress required, you gain double contribution points
    - Halves the statue resources required (8 of each instead of 16)

    Solak:
    - Applied the Wiki hitpoints adjustments to RS3  

    Sacrificed Swiftly- $20: Automatically contributes items you receive from drops to the Perk tree with a +15% bonus to the points you receive, this can be filtered similar to the Drop Catcher perk using ;;ss or ;;sacrificedswiftly, you can also copy other people's filter setups using    ;;copysacrificedswiftly desired_name When purchasing this perk it will have ALL items automatically enabled, you'll have to filter out ones you DON'T want to sacrifice, not ones you do.

    [+] Protean Processor & Superior Knowledge Bombs

    - Both are rewards from Treasure Hunter
    - The Protean processor will allow you to process up to 2,000 Protean items at one time, consuming the processor:

  6. Very strange, I'm not sure why that would be occurring. Have a mess with your graphical settings, perhaps try reinstall the game. It might be a graphics card/driver issue but you might not be able to solve it until a new update (driver update, not game update).

    - Massive thanks to Neutrino for helping bring this idea to you all. Neutrino's consistent drive to get the interface exactly how I envisioned is why it looks as good as it does today.

    - There will be a lot of information threads on how this works, the points you can get etc, but I will still detail it all here.
    - The Perk Tree is an extensive path of exciting new combat, skilling and utility perks that will reshape the way you play Ataraxia!

    Costume Box: All Elite outfits owned by your account will be automatically applied at all times, you don't need to destroy or hand them in, simply having them or having them in Diango will count while skilling. For Shark outfit, you'll obviously need the set to enable/disable consume.

    Warrior: Applies 'Dismember' on the target (buffed by Strength cape and Hemorrhaging hits):

    Voracious Voter: Will grant double the chance of dollars from Voting, +250k on each vote, an extra clue box per vote, extra key per vote and a chance of hitting the 'super rare' loot table.

    Event Enjoyer: Allows you to pick an event group (Skilling or Combat) for your random event

    Heroic Ascendancy: Provides the following bonuses:

    • Hazelmere's Signet Ring: 6% chance to double drops instead of 4%, you can now store your Matriarch rings inside the Hazelmere's for their passive boosts
    • Hazelmere's Signet Ring (i): 8% chance to double drops instead of 4%, you can now store your Matriarch rings inside the Hazelmere's for their passive boost
    • Guildmaster Tony's Mattock: Doubles the chance of receiving a damaged Artifact while excavating
    • Tavia's Fishing Rod: Notes all Fish caught and provides 100% uptime on all Deep sea fishing boosts
    • Orlando Smith's Hat: Provides a 10% chance to just receive the casket when opening a clue, doubles chance of receiving lower tier caskets from casket rewards

    - With the Perk tree taking a large part of our focus the last month or so, we didn't have time to come up with a unique Halloween event... That being said..
    - There are a few different things going on this Halloween on Ataraxia!
    - Firstly, playing the game, completing activities etc will give you 2023 Halloween Tokens, which can be spent in the following store:

    - All bones provide slightly higher experience than the Chaos altar and as an added bonus you gain a large amount of Firemaking experience

    [+] Herb Burning

    - Using the Herb burner at the Donator zone, with the Herb burning ability unlocked, you can now burn any clean herbs to receive Firemaking and Herblore experience:

    - This is an excellent way to train Herblore if you don't want to make any potions or have some left over herbs that aren't usable for any relevant potions..!

    [+] Unstable Rift

    - To start the event, type ;;hween, before I explain it myself, it's mirrored from the 2018 RS3 event: https://runescape.wiki/w/2018_Hallowe'en_event
    - You can talk to Death to receive a tutorial!
    - To simplify, you must stabilise the 5 pillars surrounding the Chaotic rift, this will grant you either: Crafting, Divination, Invention, Magic, Runecrafting, Prayer, Smithing or Summoning experience, if you switch between Pillars you will receive more experience, the experience gained also scales with your level
    - You can tell the progress of the stabilisation from the particles surrounding the pillars, once fully stabilised it will be glowing at the top of the pillar, encouraging you to stabilise the others:

    - Once all pillars are stabilised, you can enter the Warped chamber which will contain urns, you can break these to receive Halloween Tokens & rewards from this table: https://runescape.wiki/w/Warped_chamber
    - Following this, the pillars will go on cooldown until they reset 4 hours after they spawned, in which they'll all rotate with the same skills on different pillars

    You can find the Perk tree to the east of ;;home or by typing ;;tree/;;perktree.

    If you are a Master donator, simply typing ;;tree will open the Perk tree interface.

    - Simply put, this scales down the damage of ammo you're using to the tier of bow you're using it with..
    - If you're using a Chaotic crossbow with T99 ammo, that ammo damage will only be T80
    - This was a necessary change in striving towards a balanced combat triangle.

    - You can now craft a Pernix Quiver using Fragments Of Pernix's Quiver
    - You can receive these fragments from any T3 Elder godwars Trove:

    - Events have been reworked slightly, as there was an issue of people hoarding their tokens waiting to be able to pick specific events, I've removed the option to pick a specific event
    - Your options are now:

    - Selecting Random Event will activate any random event
    - Selecting Random Skilling Event will activate one of the following: Double Gathering, Double Spotlights, Triple Experience, Contract EXP
    - Selecting Random Combat Event will activate one of the following: Double Drops, +25% Drop rate, Double Slayer & Reaper, Double Spotlights or Extra Damage
    - Selecting a random category will cost 2 tokens instead of 1, however, if you're a Master Member, you can use just 1 token for any option
    - Furthermore, as it's all easier to activate now, Events can now overlap! You will receive a warning dialogue if an event is already active:

    [+] Reaper Task Changes

    -Most of the previous experiences of hunting Reaper tasks was skipping tasks until you could find the one you want...
    - Which, for progressing players is ok, as they might get a task that they could do but may not feel like it but do it anyway
    - However, for end-game players, they'd spend an exorbitant amount on trying to get a specific task they want
    - Firstly, skipping Vorago will rule out Vorago from your next skip, so you won't waste money on skipping back to back of the same Boss
    - Also, we've added the ability to pick your task.. Provided you have every Reaper perk unlocked:

    - You can pick any task you would like for only 30m (15m if you have The Discounter perk)
    - We've also added a new Reaper Perk for 1,500 Reaper points:

    - It's been brought to our attention how overshadowed Magic and Melee are by Ranged
    - In order to somewhat combat this and give Magic/Melee a comparatively powerful piece of equipment like Ranged and the Swift gloves, we've made some changes to the boots from Raksha

    - As you can see, the Magic and Melee boots now have a low % chance to double hit your target
    - As we couldn't buff both without giving Ranged something, they have the same % chance to apply a small 'bleed' attack on your target
    - This change is also hoping to bring a bit of life to these boots.

     

    [+] Pontifex Shadow Ring

    - You can receive a Pontifex shadow ring by restoring a Pontifex signet ring (damaged) and clicking transform:

    - The Pontifex shadow ring has a variety of passives:

    • Tier 2 Luck
    • +1% experience in Divination
    • Chronicle fragments have an increased chance to spawn
    • Rockertunities have an increased chance to spawn
    • Time sprites will remain at hotspots for longer

    - You can also charge the ring with 1,000 of each Resonant anima of Ful, Bik, Jas and Wen to provide different effects depending on which you charge the ring with:

    Resonant anima of Jas: Kerapac, the Bound will no longer stun you under the impact of his Jumping Slam ability
    Resonant anima of Wen: Your protection prayers against Arch-Glacor's auto-attacks are 10% stronger
    Resonant anima of Bik: Stat drains within the Croesus encounter are reduced by 25%
    Resonant anima of Ful: Income damage from geysers in the TzKal-Zuk encounter is reduced by 25%

    - Each 1,000 added upgrades the tier of the ring, starting at 2. Tiers increase the minimum Tier of trove you receive from Elder god wars bosses, Ring tier 2: (base) Trove tier 1, Ring tier 3: Trove tier 2, Ring tier 4: Trove tier 2, Ring tier 5: Trove tier 3, Ring tier 6: Trove tier 3

    - You can upgrade the ring by imbuing it, this will require 10,000 of each Resonant anima of Ful, Bik, Jas and Wen:

    - Doing so upgrades it to the Enriched pontifex shadow ring, this ring has upgraded versions of the regular ring's passives:

    • Tier 3 Luck
    • +3% experience in Divination
    • Chronicle fragments have a further increased chance to spawn

    • Time sprites will remain at hotspots for even longer
    • Unique drops at Elder God Wars dungeon chance increased by 2%

    - Finally, you can overcharge the ring, with 5,000 more of each Resonant anima type, to do so, have the 5,000 of the 4 types of anima and click charge:

    - Overcharging your Pontifex shadow ring grants all of the benefits as a passive, without having to equip the ring, with the exception of the luck bonus, skilling effects and prayer bonus.

    [+] Kerapac, the Bound

    - Kerapac, the Bound is the latest edition in the Elder Godwars saga!
    - Kerapac brings numerous powerful items and has an awesome and entertaining fight
    - Ordinarily, I'd post a bunch of photos and details on the fight and mechanics.. though, this usually adds up to about 1,000 words and 20 pictures and realistically probably doesn't get absorbed as easy as I intend/gets immediately ignored upon the next update
    - I think it's about time I start learning these bosses myself and releasing guides for them along with the update.. So, that's what I'm going to do
    - The Video below will detail the Normal mode and Hard mode encounters:

     


    - As you can see, Normal mode is relatively easy, stand under Kerapac to avoid the time rifts and then try push dps to avoid the lightning waves
    - Hard mode on the other hand is a bit more challenging, I planked a few times as you could see purely from the lightning waves so be sure to push dps when it matters to try and avoid those phases
    - As stated, Kerapac's drops can be available from normal and hard mode but only the Fractured staff of armadyl pieces drop from the hard mode encounter
    - Here's a list of all of Kerapac's rare drops (his regular drops are all accurate to the RS wiki):

     

    [+] Kerapac's Wrist Wraps

    - Kerapac's wrist wraps are new Magic style gloves
    - You can receive them as a rare drop from Kerapac, the Bound and upgrade them using a Leng artefact and 1,000 Glacor remnants:

    - As we don't have Dragonbreath, instead, Kerapac's wrist wraps will have a 5% chance per hit of inflicting your target with combust, which will deal 20-37% ability damage every 2 ticks for 10 ticks, this chance is raised to 10% with the Enhanced wrist wraps.

    [+] Fractured Staff of Armadyl

    - Fractured Staff of Armadyl is a T95 2-handed staff which can be sourced through killing Kerapac, the Bound
    - It requires three tradeable pieces to create and 95 Crafting:

    - Fractured Staff of Armadyl has a powerful special attack called "Instability", it requires 50% energy and has a 60 second cooldown
    - For 30 seconds if you critically strike with a magic attack, a second hit will apply dealing 90% of the damage, if this attack crits, it will then deal another third hit dealing 50% of the damage, if this third attack crits, it'll then do a fourth and final hit for 25% damage

    - Scripture of Jas is the newest pocket slot book which is dropped by Kerapac, the Bound:

    - As stated, on damaging attacks there's a 33% chance to cause a Time Rift, which will store damage dealt from your attacks and then unleash 20% of that damage at the end of the timer

    [+] Lamp/Star Changes

    - Sam brought up an interesting topic as a Suggestion. He suggested we remove Treasure Hunter as the ability to train your skills and skip important progress by just Voting/Buying keys is pointless and long term detrimental.
    - There was many mixed opinions about this, some were along the lines of "Now you're maxed you want to make it slower for everyone" and "That's how it is in rs3 so it doesn't matter". 
    - I was paying close attention to the debate and forming my own opinion, something I noticed on Iron Chode is that pretty much all of the shit skills such as Runecrafting, Divination, Herblore, Hunter, Farming and any that you personally dislike can be skipped via saving up your lamps and spamming them all on a Triple experience event or weekend. Since realising how overpowered this is and how much content I could skip doing so, I've vowed only to use the lamps/stars on skills that have no content past 99 as it'd just be repeating the same content instead of experiencing new content.
    - After reading this debate, Zilyana pointed out probably the best take that I saw. He stated (paraphrasing) "Treasure hunter isn't the issue, it's being able to bank all of the lamps". 
    - As such, I decided that it is probably the best move for the longevity of Ataraxia that you will no longer be able to bank any stars or lamps. This doesn't take away from the ability to use these lamps and stars on skills you don't want to do, but stops you storing them for a rainy day and using them all at once to receive an obscene amount of experience.
    - If you have lamps or stars in your bank, when you log on, you'll receive this message:

    - You will have an option when talking to Lord Daquarius to claim your lamps/stars, you can claim them then from this interface:

    - They will disappear in 24 hours, so use them quickly as we will not refund any lost lamps or stars.
    - I know, this change will upset a few people, but I hope you can see the bigger picture, which is the longevity of Ataraxia and integrity of the game.
    - If you have any questions/want to vent to someone, feel free to message me, this decision was mine and mine alone and I'll happily expand on why the decision was made.

    - Instances have been struggling/consistently having small issues.. Albeit a lot of them are fairly irrelevant like content overlapping or objects being in areas they shouldn't etc. But overall, it can be extremely frustrating when an instance issue can cause you to lose your kill
    - Armar has put in a lot of effort into moving all Boss instances into a new system as well as potential fixes for other instance-related issues such as Dungeoneering.
    - The old system didn't allow boss timer tracking, which is another huge benefit of the new system
    - We're hoping this leads to a bit more stability, short and long term.
    - Reworked Arch-Glacor's attack time system, hopefully leading to smoother and less buggy fights

    - Therefore, we've made it so you can "Auto-open" the crystal chest:

    [+] General Changes

    - Being too exhausted from Fishing while using the Shark outfit and Woodcutting while using the Always adze relic on Wonky tree is now 1/500 instead of 1/200
    - Boosted the Cave nightshade yield from 3 to 3-6
    - Removed Rex Matriarch rings from the Combination interface as you can create them in your inventory
    - Removed Crystal triskelion (15) from Combination interface, reduced price from the Misc combination npc at ;;shops to 7.5m
    - Removed Crystal key (g) from Combination interface, moved to the Misc combination npc at ;;shops for 12.5m each key (g)
    - Combat skill combination items are now rarer than non-combat skills (combat skills only being Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Prayer, Hitpoints)
    - You can now sell last Rare mystery box rotation to the shop for Rare item tokens
    - Buffed all unchecked Hunter NPC drop rates from 1/1000 to 1/150

    - Blurite rock now requires only 50 Mining instead of 75
    - Blurite rock's hitpoints reduced from 1000 to 600 and hardness reduced from 140 to 80 (so it's much easier/quicker to mine)
    - You no longer need to have the Completionist cape/s equipped in order to receive the drop rate bonus
    - Buffed the GP base reward per vote from 750k/each to 1.25m/each
    - Examining NPCs while out of combat will no longer bring up an inaccurate drop table
    - You can now store Sealed clue scrolls in GIM banks
    - All NPCs in Wilderness Star locations are now passive and won't attack
    - Added Elkoy to the Tree Gnome Village maze, he will guide you through and back when clicking him
    - Added Loyalty point sacks back to the Store items and lowered the price in the Rare item token store for the sacks
    - Added Raw sailfish to Skilling contract rewards
    - Changing your pin without first entering your pin will now require you open a ticket via Discord (this is to prevent hackers from just cancelling a pin and waiting 3 days to take your items)
    - Beasts tab will now remember your last selected boss through death
    - Primal extract is now tradeable
    - Doubled the chance that your Player Owned Farms animals adopt a new baby
    - Ghostly penguin will now be guaranteed per week, however, upon reading some discussion within the community about the Brooch of the Gods chance from the penguin, it's best it is removed. It was originally added I'm sure as just a bit of a "Go do penguins" kind of thing, while there definitely isn't 6+ coming into the eco per Ghostly, it still shouldn't be needed anymore as Penguins are excellent without this, and having a guaranteed master casket per week from Ghostly is still awesome
    - Hunter resources are now doubled with the Double gathering event (not BGH as they are npc drops)
    - Added a killcount message after killing Demon Flash Mobs
    - Added a message when you hit the cap of Marks of War telling you to go and spend them
    - Added Yrsa's shoe store
    - Added hair style variations depending on what helmet/hat you're wearing (fixes the clipping issues)
    - Added Active Max cape perks display to all other possible capes (hovering the cape will show max cape perks)
    - Increased the hit area inside Arch-Glacor arms exposed core attack
    - Removed Arch-Glacor debuffs when you leave the instance
    - Removed world announcement for combination items as they were annoying Iron Chode
    - You can now store specs in your Essence of Finality even if you haven't equipped or used it in combat before (must still be the untradeable version of EoF)
    - Added a message telling you why you can't augment an item whether it be having to augment at the workbench or whether the item needs to be full charges
    - You can now use ornament kits on worn equipment and retrieve them from worn equipment
    - Suggestions in the Discord channel will now add a 'Shrug' emoji for people who don't really know or don't really care

    - TzKal-Zuk is an enormous piece of content to come to Ataraxia!
    - The TzekHaar front boasts the demigod warlord who leads the TzekHaar, you must face him and his minions in a gruelling battle to be rewarded with extremely powerful equipment
    - TzKal-Zuk is a Reaper task
    - There will be an Ataraxia-first announcement for the first kill on Normal and Hard mode!
    - The fight involves many different creatures with different mechanics as well as varying waves and requirements in order to reach checkpoints and complete challenges, all will be explained, however, first, I will detail all of the monsters and their powers/details

    Name: TzekHaar-Kih
    Ability: Attacks with Melee and drains prayer, if out of range might fire projectile dealing damage to your tile and healing

    Ability: Attacks with Melee and has increased strength/attack depending on other TzekHaar-Hur in the area

    Ability: Similar to Fight kiln, TzekHaar-Aken spawns with tentacles, each tentacle giving TzekHaar-Aken damage reduction, after a certain amount of time he will disappear.

    Lava Blob: While the head is showing TzekHaar-Aken will occasionally fire a Lava blob at the player in a 3x3 AoE, the screen will shake when this is fired, if the player fails to dodge it they will take large typeless damage:

    Lava Bombardment: While submerged, TzekHaar-Aken will occasionally bombard the player with multiple lava blobs in a square and then following that a + pattern before finally a / and then \ pattern, seen here:

    [+] TzKal-Zuk's Waves

    - There are 3 types of waves in the TzKal-Zuk encounter, Regular, Igneous and Challenge.
    -
    Regular waves are exactly that, a certain amount of monsters will spawn over a range of sets, where sets refers to the order of which they spawn in separated by a number of ticks. EG. If wave 1 is 2 Kih and 3 Hur over 2 sets, they might spawn in 1 Kih and 2 Hur in the first set and then after a small time period spawn the remaining 1 Kih and 1 Hur

    Igneous waves are you chance to damage Zuk. Starting from Wave 4 and occurring every subsequent 5, Zuk will spawn 11 monsters in total, 3 being an Igneous version and 8 being the regular version. You MUST kill the Igneous variants, doing so will give you an ability pop up after you absorb their energy. Popping the ability will clear the remaining regular variants and then incapacitate Zuk and allow him to be damaged. You have approximately 20 seconds to deal 5,000 damage and progress to the next wave, not reaching 5,000 damage will restart the Igneous wave

    Challenge waves are a chance for you to impress Zuk. Starting from Wave 5 and occurring every subsequent 5 waves, Zuk will drag you to a smaller area arena, he will spawn a number of monsters which have differing requirements to pass the challenge (detailed below).

    The Igneous will be in small shielded areas, you must attack from inside to destroy the shield. Kill the 3, activate ability, DPS Zuk, progress.

    Wave 15 (Challenge Wave 3)

    1st Set: 3 Fatal TzekHaar-Yt-HurKot

    These invulnerable minions will damage you with Magic, Ranged and Melee, you must protect correctly using Devotion and/or Disruptive shield to ensure you take no damage. Taking damage will cause you to fail the challenge.

    Wave 16 

    1st Set: 3 TzekHaar-Jad

     

    Wave 17

    1st Set: TzekHaar-Aken

     

    Wave 18

    1st Set: TzKal-Zuk

     

    [+] Checkpoints

    - Throughout the fight there are numerous checkpoints. Reaching Wave 6, 11, 16, 17 and 18 will enable the checkpoint, meaning if you die or leave the fight, you can rejoin it at that wave.
    - Completing the entire fight without using checkpoints and completing all Challenge waves successfully is required to enable Hard-mode as well as unlock the Completionist cape requirement

     

    [+] Hard Mode

    - Hard mode TzKal-Zuk is unlocked after completing a flawless kill on Normal mode, meaning, you must complete all Challenge waves successfully and complete the encounter in one go, no checkpoints used.
    - In Hard mode, TzKal-Zuk and all of his TzekHaar's hitpoints are doubled and the only checkpoint is just before TzKal-Zuk after Wave 17
    - In Hard mode there are different mechanics:

    Wall of Lava: In every wave except challenge modes, TzKal-Zuk will yell "The skies burn!", "Flames consume you!" or "Fall, and burn to ash", and will then send a wall of lava towards you, occurring every 40-45 seconds. Just dodge it bro.

    Igneous Waves: Instead of spawning a single type of TzekHaar, Zuk will spawn the following monsters in the following sets every single Igneous wave:

    Set 1: Igneous TzekHaar-Hur, Igneous TzekHaar-Mej, Igneous TzekHaar-Xil
    Set 2: TzekHaar-Tok-Xil, TzekHaar-Xil, TzekHaar-Yt-Mejkot, TzekHaar-Mej, TzekHaar-Ket-Zek, TzekHaar-Hur

    Once again, kill Igneous, activate ability, etc etc.

    TzekHaar-Aken: Can fire the Lava bombardment while also unsubmerged, basically it, another lava blob too I guess.

     

    - Now the waves and the monsters and the Hard mode and everything is explained.. Now the actual Zuk fight.. Help, Carpal tunnel imminent

     

    [+] TzKal-Zuk Fight

    - To start, Zuk will do a bouncy castle move:

    - He'll then use his big sword to deal melee damage for his auto attacks, if you're too far away he'll instead fire a big ol' fire ball at you dealing magic damage instead

    Geothermal Burn: When Zuk says "You will burn beneath me" he will put a debuff on you which applies a magic damage bleed, you must use Freedom to avoid this as soon as possible

    Sear: When Zuk says "Sear" or "Suffer" he will attack once with melee and then twice with magic and apply Searing pain, which periodically reduces your constitution level over time, each step moved (including surge, bd, escape etc) will reduce this debuff by a stack

    Quake: When Zuk says "Tremble before me", "The earth yields to me" or "Fall before my might" he will deal a large melee damage hit, and then create 5 large eruptions around the player dealing typeless damage and applying Geothermal burn. Surge/Dive/Escape away from the eruptions to prevent being hit

    Empowered Magic: When Zuk says "Die", "Begone" or "Ful's flame burns within me" Zuk will summon a magical ball and then drops a rock on the player's head dealing large typeless damage, you can Barricade this

    Igneous Rain: When Zuk says "The skies burn", "Flames consume you" or "Fall, or burn to ash!" Zuk will jump to the center of the room, becoming invulnerable and then covering most of the arena in flames, then spawn an Igneous TzekHaar-Hur, an Igneous TzekHaar-Xil and an Igneous TzekHaar-Mej in that order. TzKal-Zuk will then start channeling an insta-kill, you must stagger him using the ability after killing the three Igneouis minions before it goes off, or you die.

     

    - In Hard mode, TzKal-Zuk has two new phases:

    Conduit of Ful: When Zuk gets low health, he will jump to his throne, protect himself in a barrier of fire and spawn a Conduit of Ful:

    - While the conduit is active, Zuk will channel power from it firing 7x7 fire balls into the arena, kill the thing or he'll fuck you up.

    Fireball: When the conduit is reduced to 0 lifepoints, Zuk will take damage, but charge up a retaliatory fireball dealing large typeless damage. After this, the Conduit will reset. This continues until Zuk falls.

     

    [+] Rewards

    - First of all, thank fuck that's over, that was miserable.
    - TzKal-Zuk's base/common drops are pretty good, nothing to be too excited about I guess. Just typical RS3 boss drop kinda vibes.
    - TzKal-Zuk's rare drops are only influenced by up to 50% drop rate, any higher will be irrelevant
    - However, completing a flawless run (completing without checkpoints and succeeding all challenges) will grant you +5% drop boost on the drops (stacking with 50% for 55% total)
    - Only the Double drops event and Hazelmere's signet ring will grant double drops in TzKal-Zuk
    - The rare drops/situational drops though...

    [+] Igneous Stone

    - The Igneous stone is a guaranteed reward for completing the encounter on any difficulty without using any checkpoints
    - It can be combined with the TokHaar-Kal-Ket, TokHaar-Kal-Mej and TokHaar-Kal-Xil to make extremely powerful capes with special activatable powers:

    - They all have unique powers which have a 2 minute cooldown, use them wisely
    - You can combine these three capes after completing a flawless hard-mode encounter, meaning you complete all challenge waves successfully and don't use any checkpoints:

    - The Igneous Kal-Zuk cape is the best-in-slot cape on Ataraxia. Boasting the best accuracy bonuses as well as a +10% damage boost and a passive +5% drop rate increase

    - The Ek-Zekkil is a new T95 2-handed melee weapon boasting the following stats:

    - It can be created by combining three drops from TzKal-Zuk; Obsidian blade, Magma core and Ancient hilt.
    - All of the drops require Hard mode.

    [+] Scripture of Ful

    - Dropping at a 1/100 rate in normal mode and a 1/50 in Hard mode, the Scripture of Ful is a powerful pocket slot item, similar to the Scripture of Wen and Scripture of Bik it can be charged with the relevant pages for 45:00 of activation time
    - While active, the Scripture of Ful has a 6.6% chance on a successful hit to give you Gladiator's rage which increases damage dealt by 20% and damage taken by 10% for 15 seconds. This effect has a 15 second cooldown.

    - Upon completing 200 TzKal-Zuk hardmode encounters you can unlock the 'Molten' override for Little Zuk:

    [+] Vote and Donor Boosts (unlimited)

    - The initial aim of creating the Damage/Drop boost (30m) books was to create an easily traded item for new players to liquidate their votes in an easy way to players who might utilise the Damage/Drop boost more commonly
    - I've always wanted to expand it further by adding an unlimited alternative to these boosts to further improve the end-game progression/convenience for some players
    - Therefore, the Vote Damage/Drop boost (unlimited) can now be created in the combinations interface:

    - For 1,000 books (which equates to 500 hours of straight use), an Upgrade gem and 50,000 Black coins, you can create the unlimited Damage/Drop boosts book.
    - Upon redeeming you will no longer be able to enable the 30m variations, however, you will still receive books from Voting of which you can sell to others seeking the unlimited version as well
    - As I'm absolutely certain that this would be quite difficult for an Ironman to amass, I've added the ability, like Ataraxia dollars and Inverted master cape tokens, to transfer them from a regular account to an ironman account
    - Furthermore, I've decided to also add a variation to the boosts you receive from claiming donations
    - Very few people, but some nonetheless will consistently donate $2 to activate the Donor Damage/Drop rate boosts
    - You can now create an unlimited version through the combination interface:

    - This will cost you 4 Upgrade gems and 100,000 Black coins
    - It was difficult trying to determine what would be the suitable price for such an item, hopefully this hits the mark
    - Unlocking the unlimited Donor drop/damage boosts will stop you from receiving any boosts from donating (as you already have them)
    - With both enabled, you will no longer be able to claim another, so don't make duplicates! Unlocking them both will make your Task tab look quite clean though...

    [+] Rare Mystery Box Rotation

    - Rare Mystery Boxes are BACK!
    - You can buy these for $10 in-game or via the Store
    - They have a chance to contain various loot ranging from Rare Item Tokens, Custom rares, Vanilla rares and now.. Inverted master cape tokens!

    [+] Master Clue Creation

    - You can now create a Sealed clue scroll (master) through the Combination interface:

    - Considering how commonly all players can receive Box of Clue scrolls from Voting, the cost is quite high
    - 10 of every Sealed clue scroll are required to make one Sealed clue scroll (master), also only having a 75% chance of success

    - Fixed a problem with NPC affinities causing defence reducing attacks like Guthix staff to stack across all accounts on the same NPC, for example, 20 people Guthix staffing Telos would effect Telos for everyone until a server restart, hence, Magic accuracy being shit on restarts..
    - Fixed "your are scanning" typo in Treasure Trails
    - Fixed Tropical wagtails seemingly being unable to move
    - Fixed Oculi apoterrasaur dropping Dragon mattock too commonly

    - Acid path of Araxxor now gets destroyed at 25% acid absorbed rather than 50%

    [+] Essence of Finality

    - Yes.. It's here... 
    - You can now store instant cast special attacks in the Essence of Finality (must be degraded/used)
    - Now, what I mean by Instant, we don't have the same combat system as Runescape 3.
    - Runescape 3 is based on a global cooldown combat system, where you can use abilities, special attacks, auto attacks all on the GCD, as we don't have this, this limits the capability of the Essence of finality.
    - If you turn on legacy on RS3 for example, you can't use the Essence of finality special attacks.
    - This means that the only special attacks we can add to the Essence of finality (for now) are: Noxious scythe, Noxious staff, Noxious longbow, Zaros godsword, Decimation, Staff of sliske, Eldritch crossbow, Granite maul, Staff of light, Dragon battleaxe, Excalibur and Enhanced Excalibur, Guthix Staff, and Statius's Warmmer
    - While this isn't ideal, it does leave a lot of potential growth, there's so many more instant specs we can add (customly), I'd love to explore ultimate rs3 abilities being added to it such as Sunshine, Death's swiftness and Berserk.
    - You can add specs to the EoF by using an instant spec weapon on it:

    - You can create the Orthen furnace core at 99 Smithing and 102 Archaeology
    - It has quite an extensive list of ingredients:

    4x Dragon burner, level 102 Artifact
    4x Draconic energy, Elite Dungeons 2
    2x Curved masterwork plate, Smithing
    10x Vital spark, Sophanem Slayer
    10x Magic logs, Magic Trees
    100x Extra fine sand, Sandstone
    100x Orichalcite stone spirits, Drops
    100x Drakolith stone spirits, Drops
    200x Tarromin incense sticks, Herblore
    500x Swamp tar, idk

    - The Orthen furnace core is held in your off-hand and while equipped will provide benefits to Mining and Smithing
    - Superheat form doesn't cost prayer points
    - Can remove sticky fungus without needing logs in your inventory
    - If the Pyromaniac invention perk triggers, player will gain a 5% firemaking/smithing experience bonus for 5 minutes refreshing on perk activation
    - Scroll of efficiency has 25% more chance to trigger, from 2% to 2.5% for bars to refund when finishing a Smithing project
    - The Forge phoenix are not added.

    [+] Mechanised Siphon

    - You can now create a functional Mechanised siphon at 77 Invention
    - To do so requires 5 Equipment siphons, 200 Magic parts, 50 Precious components, 50 Dextrous components and 50 Enhancing components
    - The Mechanised siphon will automatically siphon equipment when it reaches a certain level!
    - All handled through the following interface:

    - You can store up to 50 siphons in the Mechanised siphon and they will consume after reaching the levels
    - You can add them by right clicking the Mechanised siphon:

    - Revenant pets are here! You can now kill Revenants and slowly upgrade your Revenant pet
    - Revenant pets have the following drop rate chance: (first guaranteed), then:

    Drop Rate = Amount of pets unlocked x 250
    Drop Affix = 150 ÷ Revenant combat level
    Drop Chance = 1/(drop rate x drop affix)

     

    I.E Going for the Dragon by killing the dragon: (13 x 250) x (150 ÷ 126) Which is approximately 1/3.8k

    - Starting with the Revenant imp growing from the Revenant spirit:

    [+] Inverted Master Capes

    - You can now receive an Inverted master cape token from the Rare mystery boxes!
    - These have the same rarity as Vanilla rares (approximately 5%)

    You must not only have 120 in that skill, but also possess the Special skilling item for that skill
    - These are a new addition to all skills! While skilling, you will have an extremely rare chance to receive that skill's special item. This tradeable item can be combined with this token to create the inverted version of that skill's master cape:

    I fucked up and accidentally overwrote this update thread with the newest one. This is all we could recover:

     

    [+] General Changes
     

    - You can now charge Erethdor's grimoire up to 24 hours
    - All ironmen will receive Inquisitor pieces from completing the Zarosion IV collection
    - Dropping Inquisitor pieces will now destroy them
    - Reduced the cooldown of Cres in Guthixian cache to 20 seconds, running Memories only really works if other people are disabling the Automatons
    - Added a ;;col command to open your Collection log dialogue
    - Added a command for admins to remove the Group Ironman status/mode/group from a player making them a normal (normal as in ordinary, not normal as in normal gamemode) ironman
    - All variations of Overload potions are now searchable in the Grand exchange without requiring the potion (previous way)
    - Pet shop is now a personal shop for purchasing the bugs
    - Scripture of Bik's catalyst of alteration's will now have a chance to grant a casket instead of a clue: Base: 1%, Bronze: 2%, Silver: 5%, Gold: 8%, Platinum: 10%, Diamond: 15% and Master: 20%

    [+] Shop Changes


     
    - People have been rightfully complaining about the shop technicalities for a while! Where there's a stock of 90, you buy-50 and then you have to buy-10 4 times to get the rest
    - That's now improved!

    - When selecting Buy-X, your entry will then replace/appear below the option adding a new option with that amount
    - This will never forget, so that option will always be there allowing you to buy out stocks much quicker!

     


    [+] Crystal Key Changes


    - Crystal Keys have been added in a substantial amount with the introduction of Arch-Glacor
    - Before then, they were quite balanced, however, with thousands being readily available, we've had to nerf the Crystal chests quite a lot..
    - Reduced the quantities of all Common, Uncommon, Rare and Very rare rewards, especially relics
    - Removed Supply cache from the Rare table and moved it to the Very rare table
    - Increased the price of the Crystal Key (g) combination from 5m to 25m, the reason why it's so easy to farm unlimited rewards from Crystal chests is this combination. I think it has to come at great financial cost if you're wanting the efficiency, otherwise go 1 by 1.
    - Shout out to all of those who abused it before notifying us yahoooooo!

     


    [+] Crystal Triskelion (15) Combination


     
    - You can now find a new recipe at the Miscellaneous Combination npc at ;;shops
    - For an increased price compared to the ;;comb option, you can combine Triskelions in your bank to the Crystal triskelion (15) variant:

    - Greatly reduced the amount of time it takes to start the encounter/fight after creating the instance
    - Reduced the amount of energy fields (orbs) required to weaken Vorago from 4 to 2, needing only 1 more if you fail the damage
    - Doubled the bring him down progress per click
    - Reduced the amount of waterfalls required from 3 to 2
    - You can now choose the entry tile, whether it's inside or outside instance for Vorago's War's retreat portal
    - Vorago changes have been requested for as long as I can remember, hopefully the fight is a little shorter with these changes.

     

    [+] Solak Changes

    - Buffed Solak's max hit from 500 to 750
    - Reduced Solak prayer damage reduction from 50% to 25% (prayers will be 25% less effective)
    - Buffed Blightbound crossbow and Erethedor's grimoire drop rate by 50%, from 1/400 for the Crossbow to 1/266 and 1/200 for the Grimoire to 1/133
    - We'll see how these changes land and how much more difficult his combat becomes.. But, a little bit more rewarding :)


    [+] Croesus Changes

    - Buffed rare drop chance by 15%, from 1/600 per drop slot to 1/520
    - Added a filterable message during the Croesus fight that updates you with your contribution increases and reductions (so if there's an issue with contribution calculation we can figure it out!)
    - Buffed Hunter node success chance by 5%, was stated that this node wasn't as quick as others, so hopefully this speeds it up a tad
    - Added a 15% chance to get increased progress while restoring statues stacking with Artificier's measure

     

    [+] Croesus Item Changes

    - Sana's Fyrtorch will now have a chance to give Splintering arrowtips while Woodcutting
    - Scripture of Bik will no longer use charges while fighting Croesus and increased the proc chance from 15% to 25%
    - Sana's Fyrtorch and Tagga's Corehammer when used in conjunction with Scripture of Bik will now have increased benefits
    - Sana's Fyrtorch success rate increased from 6% to 9%, double log chance from 20% to 30%
    - Tagga's Corehammer extra critical mining chance increased from 10% to 15% and extra damage increased from 35% to 50%
    - Splintering Arrows will now have a 5% chance to double hit while equipped (stacking with Swift gloves)

    - The Croesus front has some high level skilling options for Fishing, Woodcutting, Hunter and Mining!
    - *All fungi received from this skilling has a different ID to that of the ones inside the Croesus encounter, you will not be able to bring them in
    - You can teleport to these locations through ;;t:

    - Similarly, the white glow will grant enriched fungi, otherwise the regular fungi can be used in the creation of the Seed bag and Fyrtorch

    - You will receive Timber fungus which can be used in the creation of the Seed bag and Fyrtorch

    - You'll receive Fungal algae which can be used in the creation of the corehammer and Seed bag
    - From all methods you will also receive Resonant anima of Bik, which can be used to charge the Pontifex shadow ring

    [+] New Stuff

    - Before I get into Croesus, it's best to explain the stuff that have made their way into Ataraxia excluding those directly received from Croesus, some of these were added to aid in Croesus' demise..

    Artificer's Measure

    - Artificer's measure has a rather complicated creation process, you will need:

    • Pasaha, excavated and restored through Archaeology at the Orthen dig site
    • Dragon scalpel, excavated and restored through Archaeology at the Orthen dig site
    • Orthenglass flask, excavated and restored through Archaeology at the Orthen dig site
    • Protective goggles, excavated and restored through Archaeology at the Orthen dig site
    • Magic stone, purchasable from a House portal for 975,000gp
    • Gem bag (upgraded), purchasable from the Dungeoneering reward shop for 22,000 Dungeoneering tokens total
    • 10 Mystic cloth, drop from KBD, Chaos elemental, Giant mole, Ankou and Corporeal beast
    • 10 Blessed molten glass, created at any furnace using 100 blessed sand, 3 soda ash, 3 red sandstone and 3 crystal-flecked sandstone
    • Glorious silvthril chain, created at any furnace using 1 silver, 1 mithril and 1 glorious bar

    - The item itself is quite worth it!
    - It will increase the chance of the Scroll of Proficiency and Scroll of Dexterity triggering by 25% while creating furniture or crafting respectively
    - If this effect is triggered, the player will gain a stacking "Artificer's focus" buff which increases Crafting/Construction experience by 0.5% stacking up to 10 times for 5 minutes (which can be refreshed with retriggers)
    - It also acts as an Upgraded version of the Gem bag (upgraded) allowing you to store up to 100 of each gem in it (from 60)
    - It has a 5% chance to duplicate any items created through glassblowing or creating urns
    - Finally, it has a chance to increase progress while restoring statues during the Croesus encounter

    Woodcutting/Mining/Fishing Potions

    - These potions are created from the resources you receive from skilling in the Croesus front
    - You can create the low level Mining/Woodcutting potions at 49 and 51 Herblore which will require the non-enriched fungi
    - These potions will give you a +3 temporary boost to the relevant stat
    - Creating the high-level potions will require the enriched fungi
    - Creating them requires 71, 74 and 75 Herblore respectively
    - Drinking a potion will grant you a +5 temporary boost to the relevant stat!

    Crystal Mask

    - Crystal mask is an Ancients spellbook spell that requires 7 Earth, 6 Fire, 5 Body and 4 Soul runes to cast and will last for 5 minutes
    - Having this spell active while pickpocketing will decrease your chance of getting caught and also provide an 80% chance of avoiding the stun if you are caught
    - Furthermore, it's extremely useful for the Croesus encounter as it will protect you from being hit by an attack, being hit will destroy the mask requiring you to recast it.

     

    Relentless perk

    - Added the Relentless ancient invention perk
    - This perk will provide a 1.1% chance (per rank) of preventing your special attack energy from being consumed while using a special attack
    - Good combos would be:

    - How to get there:

    - Croesus is the first Skilling boss added to RS3.. And now Ataraxia!
    - For some reason you all voted for it! And Armar has been working his ass off getting Croesus here!
    - As Croesus might not be too tempting for all players to get involved and has a loose (but probably necessary) 4-player recommendation for kills, we've added some extra drops, so keep an eye out there.
    - I have never done a battle, but will try my best to explain how it works:

    Strategy

    - Croesus doesn't get "killed" rather returned to a dormant state. To do so, you will need to clear fungus from the 4 central statues, rebuild them, pray to them to temporarily subdue Croesus and then destroy his fungal core:

    - It's firstly recommended that you have 80+ Mining, Hunter, Woodcutting and Fishing
    - Elite skilling outfits, auras, familiars, high level tools and Honed (invention perk) are all recommended to improve your gathering rates while at Croesus
    - The upgraded version of the Pontifex Shadow ring (received through Archaeology empowered with Croesus front Resonant anima of bik) is extremely good to reduce the amount of stat draining from Croesus (This ring is currently not in the game, all players have this effect by default)
    - The encounter itself is safe, however, you will have a blue health-like bar above your head, when this goes to 0 (when a stat is reduced to 0) you will be removed from the encounter
    - Croesus' health scales with the amount of people in the encounter in a simple formula: 10,000 + (30,000 * player number)
    - Croesus' also has a Rot % as seen below his 'health' bar:

    - His rot % will rise slowly throughout the encounter
    - If you are hit by one of his bombs (which will be detailed below) this rot percentage will rise, if this reaches 100%, Croesus will become too powerful and you will all lose the encounter
    - Croesus' attacks will follow the following rotation:

    0:13 - Red spore bomb
    0:25 - Fairy ring
    0:37 - Slimes
    0:49 - Yellow spore bomb
    1:01 - Stun
    1:13 - Sticky Fungi
    1:25 - Green spore bomb
    1:37 - Fairy ring
    1:49 - Slimes
    2:01 - Blue spore bomb
    2:13 - Stun
    2:25 - Sticky Fungi + Energy Fungi (both at same time)

    - The attacks do the following:

    Red Spore Bomb - Standing in it will drain your Woodcutting by up to 15 per tick

    Yellow Spore Bomb - Standing in it will drain your Mining by up to 15 per tick

    Slime Mould - Similar to insta-kill spiders in Rax, if they touch you you will lose a substantial amount of stats

    Stun/Fungus fall - Failing to avoid it will cause you to be stunned for 4 seconds, if you don't use freedom to escape you'll lose stats

    Sticky Fungi - Will stick you to the spot and lower your stats every few seconds until you burn your way out or are hit 5 times

    - As previously shown, the map of the arena looks like so:

    - In order to restore the statues and subdue Croesus to take out his core, you'll need to contribute the listed Fungi to the statues
    - But of course, it's not as easy as the relevant fungi being used for the closest statue.. You have to travel a bit, which is why having Mobile, Bladed dive, surge etc will be extremely helpful
    - From the Woodcutting area you can receive Timber fungus, from the Mining area you can receive Calcified fungus, from the Fishing area you can receive Fungal algae and finally from the Hunter area you can receive Fungal spores
    - Therefore, each resource you gain will be required in a close statue and a far statue, which is typically used as a strategy determining which player will go long and which will go short.
    - Here's a key for what symbol means what:

    - When gathering from the carcasses, you should avoid the Dark spot as this will purely give you Rotten fungi, either harvest from the sparkling or the bright node:

    - When you've fully harvested the carcass, Croesus will attempt to re-infest the corpse which will make it so you have to do it again, this can be combatted by interacting with the carcass with 10 rotten fungi in your inventory which will slow down the infestation substantially
    - To transport your fungi, you'll need to traverse some Mushrooms, the first, is an obstacle path, only step on the sparkling mushrooms:

    - The alternative is just a mushroom mine field, avoid the mushrooms:

    - When Energy fungi spawn, you need to rush to the middle and clear them as Croesus will absorb them:

    - Once the statues are restored, you can pray to them to open the path to Croesus' core for 15 seconds, stacking.
    - When the core is open you will then have an opportunity to strike!

    - You can deal damage to Croesus following clearing the carcasses, the more you've fully cleared the more damage he will take:

    • 1 Carcass: 25% damage
    • 2 Carcasses: 50% damage
    • 3 Carcasses: 100% damage
    • 4 Carcasses: 150% damage

    - As you can see here, I have 1 carcass dead so I'm dealing 25% damage:

    - If the spores are red like so, do not click the node! You will heal Croesus!:

    - However, if they're green like so and you click it, you will deal 1000 bonus damage:

    - Or if they're white and you click it, you will deal 500 bonus damage:

    - Once you get the hang of it, it is quite simple, but it just takes a bit of getting used to!

    [+] Croesus' Drop System

    - Similarly to Croesus' entire encounter, the drop system is also convoluted as fuck! Yahooooo
    - Your drop potential depends on your contribution to the encounter, you can gain contribution by:

    • Gathering fungi from the carcasses: +3 for enhanced, +2 for regular
    • Placing fungi at the statues: +2 per resource
    • Restoring the statues: +1 each exp drop (max 75 per statue)
    • Removing energy fungi from Croesus' base: +5 per tick
    • Freeing other players from sticky fungi: +10
    • Damaging Croesus' core: +1 per 500 damage, +3 for clicking on green spores, +1 for white spores
    • Rotting a carcass with 10 rotten fungi: +20

    - However, you can also lose contribution:

    • Harvesting rotten fungi from carcasses (dark area): -2 per
    • Clicking red spores on core (healing Croesus): -5 per

    - Simply put, you have a 1/600 chance for a rare drop, however, this is reduced with the amount of contribution you have.
    - You can receive up to 12 loot piles, which will give you 12 chances at the rare drop, thus making it a 1/50 chance provided you have enough contribution
    - For 12 loot piles, you'll need a contribution of at least 420, and to have any chance of a rare drop you need to have 60 contribution
    - The contribution needed per loot pile is not linear, i.e it isn't 1 pile every 40, the higher contribution you get the lower the amount needed for an extra loot pile is, for example, you need 400-419 for 11 loot piles and 420+ for 12
    - Here's a loose representation of the contribution/loot piles conversion:

    - You'll receive up to 12 piles, 10 of which will be common or rare, the 11th and 12th pile will either be a rare item or nothing at all
    - You will receive Croesus flakes and Resonant anima of Bik as secondary drops always
    - Common rewards include: Herblore secondaries, Coins, Crystal keys, Seeds, Logs, Uncut gems, Raw rocktails, Soul runes
    - And then the big ticket items.. What you want..

    - Croesus foultorch can be combined with 4 Magic logs, 2500 Croesus flakes, 5 Timber fungus and 5 Fungal spores at 80 Fletching to create:

    - Sana's fyrtorch requires 80 woodcutting to equip into your off-hand slot, it can't be augmented and doesn't degrade
    - When equipped, the fyrtorch provides:

    • +6% chance to successfully cut a log while woodcutting
    • +20% chance to cut an extra log which also grants extra experience
    • Finally, the fyrtorch can be used to clear sticky fungus within the Croesus encounter

    - Croesus sporehammer can be combined with 4 Bane bars, 2500 Croesus flakes, 5 Calcified fungus and 5 Fungal algae at 80 Smithing to create:

    - Tagga's corehammer can be equipped at 80 Mining in the off-hand slot, it can't be augmented and doesn't degrade
    - While equipped, the corehammer provides:

    • +10% critical strike chance and +35 critical strike damage while mining
    • While mining core ore, you can receive Deathspore arrow tips while mining, explained below
    •  

    Deathspore Arrows

    - You can create Deathspore arrows using fletching:

    - Deathspore arrows are tier 95 arrows
    - While equipped they provide:

    • +3% critical hit chance
    • Every time you crit a stack of Feasting spores will be added, consuming an arrow
    • Feasting spores: When 5 stacks of Feasting spores are obtained, they are consumed to add a 9 second buff that causes your next Ranged weapon special attack to cost 0% special energy
    • Even though the ammo isn't required for a Seren godbow, it can be used with it and other chargebows alike (won't consume while shooting but consumed on spec)

    - Croesus spore sack can be combined with 500 Timber fungus, 500 Calcified fungus, 500 Fungal spore, 500 Fungal algae and 2500 Croesus flakes at 85 Crafting to create:

    - The Seed bag functionality is quite simple, you can store up to 40 different types of seed up to 2.147b..
    - Simply fill them through your invent and they'll be nice and tucked away like so:

    Cryptbloom set

    - Cryptbloom pieces drop as their incomplete variants and require Croesus flakes and a high Crafting level to complete the piece
    - Each piece drops separately and duplicates are possible
    - The helmet, chest and legs give a substantial health boost, allowing you to reach almost 1200 hitpoints from 990
    - Furthermore there's quite a large defensive set bonus depending on how many pieces you have equipped:

    - The Cryptbloom set is stupidly strong if you want to just relax while pvming..
    - While this set isn't 100% necessary for Ataraxia, I do feel like for potential future bosses and content it might come into play a bit.. So don't write it off just because it doesn't have pretty accuracy numbers.

    City of Senntisten codex

    - A unique drop that we've added to Croesus.. As the spells were sourced from completing the City of Senntisten quest on Runescape 3, we decided to add them here
    - This codex has the same chance to drop as any other rare item from Croesus!
    - Reading the codex will give you the following spells:

    Smoke Cloud

    - Requiring 74 Magic, 10 Air, 5 Chaos, 5 Blood and 5 Soul runes to cast, Smoke cloud will:

    - It can be activated like a scrimshaw and recharged using Manuscript of Bik which is a reward from Croesus
    - While equipped, experience drops will have a chance to summon a Catalyst of alteration, which can be claimed to give you 1-3 sealed clue scrolls straight to your bank, following claiming this, you'll receive a 5% experience boost for 1 minute

    [+] General Changes

    - Added RS3 region areas, this change should boost map loading times substantially
    - Increased the amount of tomes received from voting to give 3 hours/3 hours
    - Increased the price of Treasure hunter keys from the Vote shop
    - Updated Arch-Glacor teleport location for Max guild/Wars retreat portals
    - Added crafting progress interface to Protean cogs and made them consume 1 tick quicker

    - Hardcore ironmen and bad pvmers rejoice! When you miss that mechanic, don't be worried, the following have your back:

    Sign of life
    - Sign of Life can be created through Divination at level 78 and worn in your pocket slot, while equipped, the Sign of life will protect you from death. Upon receiving a killing blow, you'll be returned to 25% life and the Sign of life will be consumed.
    - This will also enable a 1 hour cooldown for receiving any similar effects as listed below.

    Portent of life
    - Portent of life can be created through Divination at level 99 and held in your inventory, while held, the Portent of life will protect you from death. Upon receiving a killing blow, you'll be returned to 25% life and the Portent of life will be consumed.
    - This will also enable a 1 hour cooldown for receiving any similar effects.

    Portent of death
    - Portent of Death can be created through Divination at level 99 and held in your inventory, while held, the Portent of death will protect you from death. Upon receiving a killing blow, you'll be returned to 15% life and deal the same amount of damage to your target, the Portent of death will be consumed.
    - This will also enable a 1 hour cooldown for receiving any similar effects.

    Defence skillcape perk
    - The Defence skillcape can be purchased at ;;shops from Max. Equipping or harnessing the power using your Max cape will provide you a matching effect to that of the Sign of life or Portent of life, however, the cape will not be consumed.
    - This will also enable a 1 hour cooldown for receiving any similar effects.

    Ring of life
    - With the Ring of life equipped, receiving a killing blow will teleport you to safety and consume the ring, there is no cooldown.

    - Using any of the above excluding the Ring of life will give you a debuff:

    - War's Wares is here!
    - All bosses you kill will grant you Marks of war, which can then be used in this shop to buy powerful Auras or consumables:

    - The amount of marks you receive from the Bosses scales with their difficulty, ranging from KBD/Dagannoth Kings giving 10 all the way to Solak and Elite dungeons end-bosses giving 400.
    - You can buy aura refreshes to completely reset your aura cooldown or alternatively Life refresh which can be used to reset your Sign of life, Portent of life/death and Defence skill cape perk cooldown!

     

    [+] Protean shake, protein, essence 

    - We now have all of the Proteans available! The Protean shake, Protean protein and Protean essence now allow you to use Proteans to gain Smithing, Construction, Hunter, Crafting, Firemaking, Fletching, Divination, Invention, Cooking, Herblore and Runecrafting experience!
    - Protean packs will now allow you to pick "More" options:

    Hazelmere's Signet Ring (i)

    - Hazelmere's signet ring (i) will require: Ring of Wealth (c), Hazelmere's signet ring, 2 Upgrade gems ($50) and 50,000 Black coins (500m)
    - This ring will not only grant the typical double drop chance of the Hazelmere's signet ring but also include the 'perfect' ring/ring of wealth (c) double drop, giving you 2 chances at a drop potentially.. if you're really lucky, giving you 3x
    - It will also provide the benefits of a Ring of Death!

     

    Super Restore (unlimited)

    - Super restore (unlimited) will require: 10,000 Super restore flask (6), an Upgrade gem ($25) and 100,000 Black coins (1b)
    - Super restore (unlimited) will give you an unlimited supply of Super restore sips! You will never need another potion to restore your stats or prayer if you have this item!
    - It is a hefty price to create it, however, I'm hoping this stirs the Herblore economy and hopefully starts more of a market for these items as well as a money/item sink!
    - Creating this item is a requirement for the Completionist cape (t)

     

    Aggression Potion (unlimited)

    - Aggression potion (unlimited) will require: 4,000 Aggression flask (6), an Upgrade gem ($25) and 100,000 Black coins (1b)
    - Aggression potion (unlimited) will give you an unlimited supply of Aggression potion sips! You will never need another potion for aggro on your Slayer tasks after making this!
    - Once again, a fairly expensive item to make, but it is purely for the people who are trying to really maximise their efficiency on Ataraxia and achieve everything!
    - Creating this item is a requirement for the Completionist cape (t)

     

    Elder Overload Salve (unlimited)

    - Elder overload salve (unlimited) will require: 5,000 Elder overload salves, 3 Upgrade gems ($75) and 200,000 Black coins (2b)
    - Elder overload salve (unlimited) will give you an unlimited supply of the best potion in the game, giving you unlimited sips of: Poison immunity, Dragonfire immunity, Wyvernfire immunity, Prayer renewal, Stat boost up to 129 in all combat stats and when consumed a Prayer points boost.
    - This is the most powerful potion in the game. The price is justified in the fact that this potion will never be outclassed, it is end game. If you get this potion you will never need another stat boosting potion again!
    - Creating this item is a requirement for the Completionist cape (t)

    These items could have been added without the need for 'P2W', but I feel these kinds of things are where P2W can be somewhat acceptable.

    Through these items we can boost the economy, predominantly the Herblore economy as there will be a lot of people attempting to get the above potions. Which will require a lot of time, resources and commitment but for those who have borderline unlimited money, they can offload some of the burden on to new players and give them a money making strategy.

    Similarly, these players also have a lot of stowed Ataraxia dollars, which I want to get rid of.

    And then the coin sink speaks for itself.

    The glory of a system like this is that realistically, if you had 10k Restores, 4k Aggros or 5k Salves you would basically have unlimited, however, the benefit and quality of life of having a single item that you never have to worry about bank space or anything like that, is so powerful.

    And if you don't want to commit the time or money to make it.. Don't!

     

    [+] Anachronia Agility Course

    - Anachronia Agility course is here! This long as fuck Agility course provides a semi-customisable Agility course where you can take various routes depending on your Agility level
    - It is an extremely long course when fully completed.
    - Traversing the obstacles and completing the course will provide Codex pages, which can be used at the Lectern to make codicies:

    Gosh, what a big month. December is always tough, personally, I love the Christmas period and really love to get into the Christmas spirit.

    I found myself being extremely unproductive for Ataraxia during this time. This patch is pretty much 99% Armar.

    I needed a bit of a break, but I'm keen to get back into my small irrelevant bug fixes and content additions that you all forget about after a day!

    Hope everyone had a very safe and enjoyable Christmas (if you celebrate it) and New Year with your loved ones and family.

     

    [+] General Changes

    - Added Raptor key part combination
    - Added a command to ban a player from Gambling 
    - Added a command for Admins to spawn players items through Discord
    - Changed it so voting bonuses are only granted with 3 or more votes again (was changed to 2 when Runelist was down)

    [+] Illuminated God Books

    - God books are here!
    - You can purchase the base versions from a bookcase at Citharede Abbey:

    - Each one will cost 5,000,000gp:

    - These damaged books are the first possible variation you can have.
    - Using a full set of 4 of the relevant pages on the book will then upgrade it to it's repaired version:

    - This version can be charged with pages, providing 45 mins of active time each page
    - You can further upgrade the book to have better stats by Illuminating it!
    - You can do this in the same location you found the book:

    - You'll need to use your completely repaired book on the table:

    - You can now commence the creation of the illuminated variant.
    - You'll need to do the following in the same order they appear in the window:

    - Doing so will then grant you the illuminated version! This version's effect is the same, however, will provide better stats while equipped

    - Similarly, you will need to charge this with pages to have uptime, you can charge up to 24 hours in a book.
    - Now, why go through all of this effort?

    Illuminated Book of Law: 5% chance to create a swirling tornado at the target's location dealing 4 hits of damage in 4 ticks dealing a total of 180-300% damage within the 4 ticks.

    Illuminated Book of War: 5% chance to hit your target with a shockwave dealing 90-150% damage reducing the target's defence level by 5% + 5 and increasing it's affinity values by 3.

    Illuminated Book of Balance: 5% chance for the Sword of Edicts to fall on the target's location burning and exploding dealing 90-150% damage, followed by 3 hits of 7.5-12.5% damage with a final 3x3 hit dealing 37.5-62.5% damage.

    Illuminated Book of Wisdom: 6.6% chance to strike the target with lightning dealing 165-275% damage.

    Illuminated Book of Chaos: 6.6% chance to hit the target's location with a dark explosion dealing damage to your target and all the targets within 3x3 for 150-250% damage split.

    Illuminated Ancient Book: 6.6% chance to surround the target with icicles dealing 120-200% damage and binding the target for 4 seconds.

     

    [+] Arch-Glacor

    - Arch-Glacor is the first boss added to Ataraxia from the Elder God Wars (GWD3)!
    - Arch-Glacor is an extremely challenging enrage scaling boss along with a hard-mode fight which will prove more challenging for even the best PvMers on Ataraxia!
    - You can get to the Glacor Front by simply opening your Beasts tab:

    - Arch-Glacor has 6 main mechanics:

    Creeping Ice: This mechanic is mandatory, ice will slowly creep around the arena and force you into specific places:

    - The cool part of Arch-Glacor is, you can pick which mechanics you fight him with! So you can slowly amp up the difficulty when you begin to master the different mechanics:

    - The 5 optional mechanics are:

    Glacyte Minions: This will spawn 4 minions with a small amount of health, Arch-Glacor will be invulnerable until they are all dead. Upon death, they will leave behind an unstable glacyte core which can be clicked to damage Arch-Glacor:

    Flurry: Arch-Glacor will rapidly switch between two combat attacks, similarly to Jad, they're quite easily differentiated, this attack will occur for 15 seconds:

    Pillars of Ice: Creeping ice will cover one side of the platform and will grow, when it's at a certain fatness an ice tornado beam thing will follow you around the platform, when the ice dissipates a second beam will spawn before disappearing a while later, standing in the beams will deal damage and sap your prayer:

    Frost Cannon: This is a one shot mechanic, Arch-Glacor will perform creeping ice from one side or both sides forcing you into an area then go-go-gadget turn into a big fuck off cannon and you'll need to use a shield with protection prayer or protection prayer and devotion to avoid planking:

    Exposed Core: Creeping ice will approach from both sides, forcing you into the middle, his arms will lock you inside granting you a debuff that will kill you when reaching enough stacks, you need to out damage an arm and escape:

    - Hard mode will enable and enhance ALL of these abilities, I won't explain how, as, if you're doing hard mode, you'd already know them more than me

    [+] Rewards

    - In normal mode you receive three drops, whether you're a solo and get all three, a duo and get one each and then the top dps gets one or more and the top 3 dps get one each.
    - The quantity and quality of the drops you receive are heavily dependent on the amount of mechanics you have enabled
    - There are obviously a tonne of regular resource drops as with every boss, but there's a few new items that are quite important and require further explanation.

    Glacor Remnant: These are a stackable and consistent untradeable drop from Arch-Glacor, they are used to upgrade and enhance drops from Arch-Glacor and external drops into stronger alternatives, for example: 1000 remnants, Leng artifact and Gloves of Passage will create the Enhanced Gloves of Passage.

    Leng Artifact: Leng artifact can be used to upgrade the Gloves of Passage, Nightmare Gauntlets (currently unobtainable) and Kerepac's wrist wraps (currently unobtainable) into their t90 improvements.

    Dark Nilas: Similarly to the remnants, Dark nilas are required to create various items from the Arch-Glacor collection including the T95 weaponry and the cosmetic adornments

    Scripture of Wen: The Scripture of Wen is a pocket slot equippable book, when dropped, it's tradeable, upon unlocking it it will become untradeable. The Scripture of Wen can be activated similarly to Scrimshaws and recharged with the Manuscript of wen (drops from Arch-Glacor). While active it has a 6.6% chance of releasing a 3x3 aoe beam which will deal 5 ticks of damage before shattering dealing extra damage.

    Elder Troves: These are basically loot boxes from Arch-Glacor, higher the tier, better the rewards

    Frozen Core of Leng (hardmode only): This be the drop you want. This can be combined with the T85 1h melee weapons: Dark ice shard and Dark ice sliver to create the T95 Dark Shard of Leng and Dark Sliver of Leng:
